This chair is called Albert Kuip Coffee. What's in a name? In this case: coffee, literally! We made the seat of this chair with coffee grounds! Coffee turns out to be a beautiful and sustainable building block for sturdy chairs. And look at that color and texture. That's what we call upcycling! The coffee grounds come from a huge coffee chain. We are really talking about high-end remnants here! We mix the coffee residues with modern binding agents and press them into this durable seat.
